Magazine Repair
I have an issue with one of the magazines for my 1923 commercial luger. It is original and I would like to get it repaired but did not know if this is something a regular gun repair shop can do. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to get it repaired?

Look up our own G.T. on the list. The ONLY magazine guru out there.
But in the mean time go buy a couple of Mec-Gar mags. for the range and save the orig. for looking at. dju |

Thanks to all, I contacted GT and my magazine is in transit.

All of you guys were spot on! I just received my magazine and GT fixed the problem. Now the magazine goes on display!

A close friend gave me a couple of Luger magazines that were in pretty bad shape. Bill said "maybe you can use these for spare parts." Both magazines were in pretty bad shape, broken bases, damaged springs and dented tubes.
I contacted GT and asked if he could repair them. His reply was that he could. So I sent them on to him, and in less than a week and a half, they arrived in the mail. The work was outstanding, and it was hard to believe that they were the same ones that I had sent him. This morning, I showed them to my friend, and he too was amazed at how good they looked and the workmanship. My hat's off to GT and we are fortunate on this forum to have such talented members. Again to GT, Thank you so very much. Peter newluger |
