My Luger

Hi everyone,
New to the forum. I have this Luger for quit some time now.

As you can see it's pitted and not in such a good shape, also it has been ugly deactivated by the previous owner. He told me it was found on an attic.

I don't know anything about Lugers, so I hope you guys can enlighten me.

Thanks in advance!:)

Regards

P.S.: Be gentle for her please.

Welcome to the forum!

The various marking on the right receiver ear are intriguing...Sad to see a prewar Mauser in this shape.

Thanks for the warm welcome!:)

I'm happy with it. For me it doesn't have to be fully matching or in very good condition. I even would be happy with a relic Luger.

Do you know what the marking means?

Regards

Hi Nick, I've never seen a mark like that before and it doesn't seem as if anyone else on the forum has either. Perhaps it's a de-activation mark? Regards, Norm

Thanks, you may be right.
I found a similar marking on my SVT-40.

Thanks for your comment.

I checked and it does indeed have a suffix "c".
