Ohhhhh, the horror..the horror.

It's a nightmare in bubba form...

alanint 11-29-2011 03:04 PM

Well, at least technically repairable should someone refinish it again....

nukem556 11-29-2011 03:17 PM

yeah, i was thinking on the sideplate, the screw head could be cut off flush, the threaded part loctited into place, and maybe just barely tapped with a TIG weld, and resurfaced, then the whole gun stripped and rust blued......are these 1908 models scarce enough to make the effort worthwhile, if it can be bought cheap? (factoring in doing the work myself, not farming it out)

nukem556 11-29-2011 10:04 PM

Well, I didn't wait for any advice....I'm a sucker, so I bought the thing for 560.00....resto project!!!!

Ron Wood 11-29-2011 11:04 PM
