Unmarked fxo type magazine???
HI,
I have a luger magazine that I need help with to find out what it is. It looks like a FXO but it has no markings of any kind. The aluminium base has no proofs or markings . It has the pin concauve. It is blued finish about 95%. Could it be for a?? Krieghoff French production post war Or a commercail magazine For a 1941 or q 1942 commercail luger?? Regards Bob |
Bob, how about a good close up picture of the aluminum base.

Pictures of the bottom of the fxo unmarked
HI
Here are the pictures of the bottom of the unmarked FXO magazine. I known it is not a east german magazine because it does not have the line in it like the east germans ones do. Bob That is not a line on the bottom just a nick |
Actually, it is a line....
Hi SAKIJOE, Actually the line you see is a mold flashing line from the mold half's coming apart... or, cutting right to the chase.. a parting line.. I think it is the TRUE indicator of a period commercial mag, versus an armourers spare... I have seen plenty of un-numbered fxo style mags where the parting line was buffed off in prep for a number.. but a very few with the line, flashing, intact... Again, just coming from what I've seen and believe.. not written in stone..;)... Best to all, til...lat'r...GT
