Looking for a set of reproduction grips

I just acquired a 1937 Luger all matching except the grips and magazine. The grips have been replaced with some sort of clear plastic and I have been told it may have been trench art.

Anyways I want to find something a little more correct for the firearm.

Everyone keeps sayings Nills, but I emailed them and apparently they no longer make these.

They are still shown for sale on their website.

Hmm they are. I asked him in an email for Luger P08 grips and this is what he said.

Dear Mr. Sowards,

thank you for your enquiry and your interest in our grips.

Unfortunatelly we can not offer / produce grips for your Luger P08. Other grips are not compatible, a single-item production is also not possible. Thanks for understanding!

Best regards

So I assume I was incorrect asking for P08 grips?

I also got a k98 that is stamped 1937 also. It has been sporterized and neglected, but I'm hoping I can make it a shooter.

Put an ad on the item wanted column and you should get some bites. And how about some pictures. Guys around here enjoy it all, even the trench art.

I'll get some soon as I get a chance. I'm in the middle of moving and my safe is at my parents still.

Someone from Nill emailed me back and told me they made a mistake. They do not make them for Swiss Lugers, but still obviously have them for Germans.

Yes, these are made from the German smooth grips. Hugh is here visiting this week, if you have any questions, ask them here and I will let him answer you himself.
