Just grabbed this one today...paid 740$, so I feel like it was a good deal, I'm still a Luger newbie and don't have a commercial interest by any means, but still couldn't pass this one up...Chris..

I agree--good deal.I really like shooting the .30 Luger ,I have found it be more accurate than
the 9mm with less recoil.

Nice harder to find 20DWM... great deal!!!

I just got mine today, 1920 Com 7.65 NRA excellent. All matching except the mag. The toggle contact area shows almost no firing, my gunsmith said he couldn't tell if it had been fired but that toggle contact tells me it has at some point.

But, I paid $1200 for it, it's the caliber and also the fact of an aftermarket magazine. You did very well, how does one find deals like that?

I'm trying to figure out if I should fire mine, this may become my second safe queen. The other is a Mauser 70's P-08 30 cal new unfired condition. From photo's I've seen is it true that Commercial P-08's have nicer finishes than milspec pistols?

Not sure if Commercial guns are necessarily nicer finished guns that Military. Up thru the late 20's all the DWM guns, Mil. and commercial, were finished the same IMHO; suitable for the commercial market. But of course Erfurt was another story. And WW2 Mausers were a bit more Plain Jane'ish too.
