Gerry Tomek, Magazine Man

I recently purchased a 1937 S/42 Luger with matched magazine at a reduced price due to a dent and bend in the magazine. At the advice of a forum member, I sent the magazine to Gerry Tomek for repair. The magazine was repaired in one day and returned to me in perfect working condition.

Gerry was extremely helpful, prompt, and a real pleasure to deal with. For $35, I added several hundred dollars to the value of the gun. Not a bad investement!

Anyone with magazines that need repaired should contact Gerry at gctomeks@msn.com.

Thanks again Gerry,

Doug

Since we have had several thousand new member registrations since the last time you had a run of the magazine mandrels for repairs, you might want to crank out a few.

I would bet that you would find that many of the new members would be interested in purchasing a set of your "limited edition" magazine tools.

Best wishes old friend... -JS

Mag tools revisited!

Hello to all.... There seems to be a resurgence, or, slight demand for the above mentioned Luger magazine repair mandrels and fixture plates that were offered by GT Specialties, probably 7 or 8 years ago?? If there is enough demand, I'd contract for a small run of them, made to order....... The mandrels wound be the same, but the fixture plates would have a few added features that i've realized are needed over the last few years of mag repair... ;)... I will keep all who inquire on a list, if it gets to a point where i can make it work, it'll happen... ;)...Thanks and best to all, til...lat'r...GT
