Calling all Artillery experts.....

The two pictures are an artillery, of course, a radium front sight and a radium rear sight. I need some help with information on this odd duck.

Man, I love the hell outta those sights. What a magnificent accessory. Adds character to the usual Artillery Luger.
If it is for sale and you don't buy it, I'll give right gonad for it. If you want more, I'll include 1 digit of the left little finger. |

That's funny Jerry....LOL
To old to chase women and don't use the nads anymore and 1 digit on my non-shooting hand little finger is no biggie for me. :roflmao: I'm curious what something like this costs if they are "super" rare. |

On 13th February 1917, the Ludwing Sudicatis & Co. Munitionsfabrik (Berlin) introduced a night sight for LP08 and K98. The tool was also produced by the company C. Lorenz A.G. Telegraphenwerke in Berlin. It is composed by a front and a rear sight. Both sights have a radium insert to allow sighting in the night. Although the front sight configuration is well defined (see first pictures) it is possible to find different customized solutions.
Additional photod and info are available in my web site: www.lugerlp08.com and then select Sudicatis Nocturnal Sight. Enjoy this really nice and rare accessories. Mauro |
Are these sights as an add on, or are they factory made ? Is it possible to install one on any Artillery, ( if you find one of this sights to buy :) )

Alf,
They are an add-on. You can install them easely if you find them. They are quite rare. Additionally, the link provided by Harry is an indirect link to my web site www.lugerlp08.com , I suggest using the correct one. Cheers, Mauro |
Thank You All.
