My 1900 American Eagle preserved by Charles Danner, grips by Hugh Clark.
Harry Before and after: |
Harry, appears to me that this one deserved the fine treatment, it is very nice.
I always forget the before pictures in a project. Ed |
I forgot to thank my old buddy George Fortier for selling it to me. No one can have too many friends like George, he is loyal, generous and he makes me laugh.

A nicely performed restoration, Harry. Something to be proud of.
I like it when the lines are nice and sharp on the gun. |
The before pics show mottled blue-less areas...Like someone spilled Naval Jelly on it...What would do that???

Hi Harry
The old guy I got the gun from did not tell me that a cat urinated on it,he did say that he had a cat and I thought that might have happend but I was told that cat pee or coke would have taken the blue off down to the bare metal.I don't know what someone spilled on it but what ever it was didn't help it. I just would not like my cat to get a bad rap. Thanks George |
