That strange looking symbol is not a 'b'; it's English equivalent is 'ss'...

John Sabato has 'Masstafeln zur Pistole 08' on CDs... ;)

What we want is 'Masstafeln zur LP-08'... :D

(And 'Masstafeln zur Borchardt')

Thank you for the spelling correction. I still have trouble with English. Thank goodness for spell check and sometimes that does not help me :banghead:
It would be great if someone could gather enough surviving material to publish the drawnings for the LP 08.
Again thanks,
Ed

As do I. It's not my native language. (I'm from Canada)... :D

One of my German friends told me what that 'ss' symbol that looks like a 'b' was...but I forget what it's called...

That old style of German printing is no longer used... but it was what my German textbook in High School was printed with back in the LAST CENTURY! I learned to read that German... a very LONG time ago... unfortunately, my memory for translation is not so good anymore...

I believe the BAYERISCHER HAUPTSTATAATSARCHIV has it its collection a set of drawings for the LP08. I have seen in various published works quite a few dimensioned drawings for all sorts of Luger "things". As an engineer I find these "drawing" very interesting. But I have noticed that some "collectors" (present company not included) tend to hold their collection very close. Like the art collector who buy art and hangs it a vault where ONLY he/she my look at it.
