1902 carbine

I'm looking at purchasing a carbine that is all numbers matching. One question i have is this. The gun I'm looking at has all the bug marks but it does not have the Germany stamp on it does this affect value? Also what specific areas should I be looking at? I know serial restamps and correct size on them.

Hello Kevin,

Usually, M1902 Luger carbines are NOT marked 'Germany', and it is normal for them to have BUG proof marks.

Good luck,
Albert
