Vince, The pups are mostly well. Elf, my avatar has had a lick sore for some time now. (Lick granuloma) We've tried everything, bitter apple, yuk, hot creams. She thinks those are condiments.

Fred, There's a product we got at a local pet supply (Mini Pet Mart). I don't recall the name, it's herbal based in a spritzer bottle. It gives off a scent that is like CS (Pepper spray) which dissipates quickly. Just don't inhale when you apply it. It works great on "Hot Spots" and other skin conditions, and they won't lick it off. It's not cheap, but very effective.

It is a work mans stamping, you see them on all types of lugers, with assorted letters.

this is what i have read and been told and I am sure that is true.

It's called "Schreiner's Herbal Solution". It comes in a pale green plastic spritzer bottle. The label has a floral design. The price is around $20 , I think.

Hi Fred,
Our girl Maggie was lost after "Lick granaloma". I think, Sir, that I posted to you first when our vet helped her over the bridge. Maggie had "TPLO" surgery on each hind leg. The licking started after the second surgery. I truly believe that it became a compulsive disorder. After many med checks, no one could define the source of the licking. Love them each day and remember all that they have given to you/us.

I am still in shock. When we lost Maggie, we decided that Rowdy would have to be a "lone Wuff". 1 1/2 years later, we have a new Dude on the farm. I have yet to figure out if he is handsome or just so yoogly that he is cute. Big step out of the box here. I have to smirk here, a 4 month old "Golden Doodle" and that little man is smart. His "Francois" heritage is so obvious at times. Monkey see, monkey do. Rowdy has taught "Bones" in the first week how to find and enjoy "horse doogies". Haaa, That moring kiss is sooo down on the farm.
