I am in the proccess of putting a few of my oldies in long term storage. I'm told the keep the few in nylon socks seperate from the leather. Any suggestions!!

Do not let the guns touch the leather and if you can, store the guns and leather in different containers. The further the guns stay away from leather for storage, the less likely that the acids used in tanning the leather will react with the steel in the guns.

Doug

I second 'Bore Stores' For 4 " barrels the P-3, Large Frame Auto is perfect. For artilleries, the P-4 large auto and revolver is the one!

I've also used the silicone gun socks for protective safe storage.
