Good Day For Lugers
Took my two worst shooting lugers -- Mauser Banner 1941 and Mauser S/42 1937 -- to the range this morning and they performed without a single malfunction and were right on target. I had fired them several times in the past and had almost given up on them. I guess it takes some time to shoot the cobwebs out of these old guys, so any Luger lovers who can't get get them to perform properly just have patience. The more you shoot them, it seems the better they like it.

Hi James, I think you'll find that Lugers are like women, they need a firm hand. Regards, Norm

If you understand that "We" (the lugers and you) performed without a malfunction, you are closer to "The Force" mastering... Obi Wan!

Ammo makes a huge difference, as does the right magazine for the right gun...

I use 115 grain, 9 mm FMJ Korean made PMC and my aftermarket mags are MecGar. The Korean stuff has always been reliable in all calibers and I've never had a problem with the Italian made mags. I also use the mags that came with the guns, but they aren't too good. However, they have never given me any problems. A firm grip and a steady hand and DON'T BLINK are good Luger shooter keys.
