Gee whiz guy's, it's just that I have been reading way too much world news. The forums have been flat today and I guess I was wondering....if everyone else was preoccupied with the axels I am getting wrapped around. Does anyone remember the ancient movie "on the beach"?

On The Beach was a great old movie......saw it again recently and cringed when they wrecked a bunch of Jags and Austin Healeys in the race scene! Understand about the Ambien..older i get, the less well I sleep....I'm resigned about current events though.....I take the position of the sage who once said , " Be of good cheer, not everyone gets the chance to witness the collapse of an Empire"

Well, someone came knocking on my door and woke me up, at 4:24 in the morning, must have been wrong room, because by the time I got there, no one was there....

I think I both read the book and saw the subsequent film version, back in the day. The way radiation works in the environment is NOT the way described in "On the Beach." Helpful tips on setting up an automobile for long-term storage, though...
