Are we talking about an Interarms Mauser Parabellum? If so they were the 1970's as I recall. Pictures will help.

You have an Interarms imported Luger which is very shootable with virtually no recoil and quite accurate at reasonable pistol ranges. Whether actually unfired or just looks unfired, (I have lots of guns that look unfired which I have used for many years) field strip it, clean out any congealed grease or oil, and lubricate it liberally (I like Rem Oil) before firing. I bought one myself a couple weeks ago on Gun Broker (Serial No. 10.001787) and have been having a blast (pun intended) with it. When you go to load the 8 round magazines you will quickly discover why it is packaged with a loading tool. I have only fed it Fiocchi 93 gr RN FMJ which it feeds and shoots flawlessly. Great shooting Lugers for under $1000 in the original Luger caliber. Enjoy

Doug

When you post a message, you can make a "Post Quick Reply" or you can "Go Advanced"

When you click on the "Go Advanced" tab you will see options at the bottom of the screen. One of these is a tab that says "Manage Attachments"

If you will click on the "Manage Attachments" tab it gives you an opportunity to "browse" and find the digital picture in your computer that you want to post with you message. When you take your digital picture, try to keep the resolution small because the system will not accept digital photographs that use up too much data space.

Congratulations on finding a nice .30 six inch Luger! As others have pointed out, they are really fun to shoot.
