Luger's great Design

I am starting to do some other pistols in my business and now that I am I REALLY do appreciate the engineering and elegance of the Luger Pistol more and more. They are simply amazing feats of Engineering especially considering when they came out, many must of considered them STATE of the ART! ~Thor~

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!! I'd go so far as to say they're STILL state of the art!

For an amazing feat of engineering, wait until you do a C96. Granted, the Luger was superior with its contoured grip, natural pointing ability, and removable magazine, but remember both of these designs were in production before the automobile was anything more than a curiosity. In the same period came the M98 Mauser rifle and not much later came the Colt 1911. Everything else in pistol design since then has merely been a refinement of design until you reach the modern plastic guns. I have a plastic gun - it shoots water.
