Never used it to remove rust, but it does a wonderful job of restoring barrel bores.

Just follow the instructions in order to get the perfect results.
Dont use BW in a dump climate in a garage. Use it in an A/C operated area. I've blued a 1911 type barrel and other small parts, it looked great. I put several "layers" on the parts til I had the right dark color I wanted.
Overall - BW is a good blueing stuff w/o disturbing odor, but I would never use this stuff on a Luger :nono:

YOu can go on their site and buy direct or they have a map locator for a store near you, apparently they are everywhere.

My original question was, if the product only removes rust and not add any blueing...they say it does not harm the original blue, but does not say anythig of adding blue.... there are three different units in a kit.

Midway USA has the Blue Wonder bluing kits, or the Blue Wonder tubes of cleaner, if you don't need the entire kits.

They make several different products ( http://www.bluewonder.us/Products.html ) so you're obviously asking about the blue remover, not the bluing. The web page mentions acids, so I assume that it's a product similar to Birchwood-Casey's Blue and Rust remover. It probably contains sulphuric acid, which is often used in products like this.

My favorite way of removing bluing is to clean the parts thoroughly and then soak in white vinegar. It's basically the same process, but with less concentrated acid. Slower, but safer.
