History of the parabellum pistol in Switzerland

Hi guys,

Found this book on early Lugers on line. Lots of pictures as studying material. If you know German even better.

This is an older, well researched, booklet that was written and published by Reinhard Kornmayer. Mauro and I had the chance to study the original manuscript of this book.

Hello fellows,
Just to add some pictures concerning what Gerben wrote above.

I have taken some pictures of the original Kornmayer master booklet I have here at home.

This is the master from where the copies have been published.

Interesting to note that the pictures are manually cut and glued as we expected for a booklet written in 1969.

A nice piece of luger history...

Enjoy,
Mauro

Mauro,
That little booklet is an excellent, relatively rare early reference and very difficult to find (I have one and found another for a good friend). As Gerben has indicated, it is a well researched work by a very authoritative author. This was one of the first references to identify and illustrate the 1899 "Versuchsmodell" pre-production variation (Kenyon got his book to press slightly sooner). To have the original master copy is truly outstanding! Congratulations and thank you for posting it.

My pleasure Ron!
