I have been waiting you for years.
Finally, got my prewar vL&D Bolo with matching shorter stock. Seller promised 3-day inspection. Waiting its arrival. I have been waiting one for years. It's claimed coming from a seller in Boston area, and it would return back to Boson. Amazing indeed. Probably it will stay here forever. Will post pictures when it arrives.
Surprisingly, prewar Bolo is hard to come. Much harder than my original expectation. I have seen dozens of standard conehammers, and large rings for sale, but very few Prewar Bolo show up on the market. |

Prewar arrived. There is another super nice 10-shot small ring transitional Bolo printed on Mr. Antaris' new Astra book. This one looks great as well. Gee, how many of these have been preserved, why did people buy a gun without using it in its tool stage... One of the best that I've ever seen.
Camera's broken, pictured by celluar phone. Postwar and prewar side by side. |
Alvin, WOW! Beautiful examples...I like the grips. Are they wood or?
Jerry Burney |
No, it's not wood. It's hard rubber or plastic. Must be hi-tech in that era. The serial is in vL&D's list. I will find when it was sold, to whom initially.
