1925 DWM 30 Cal. Barrel Condition

How does one gauge a 90 year old pistol as far as corrision and pits. I've been soaking the inside with Nitro for 2 days and still getting a little green out of it. Copper. Plus looks like barrel may have small pits. I am use to Custom shop barrels that look like glass when I am done cleaning. I am letting soak, then use new 9mm brush, swab, then look and see what looks like a old inside of barrel. Just curious as to what to expect. The pistol is in great condition except holster wear and the inside of the barrel, but I am not done yet. Previous post shows Pic's. Plus the price was like to nothing for the pistol and a original box of Remington ammo.
