The first has been reblued, so the takedown lever is probably the result of a repair.

The second has also been reblued in the past. Interesting combo, but can be assembled by anyone anywhere at any time :)

The third is a parts gun. Note that the receiver is not notched. My best guess is that this started out as a normal commercial AE and that someone fitted an arty barrel. Note it has no notch for the rear sight.

#1 is a repaired takedown lever (looks to me like the end of a 1900 safety lever has been grafted onto the original takedown lever stub)

#2 is a Riechsrevolver holster that has had an additional couple of inches added to the barrel section to accomodate an artillery pistol

#3 is definitely a parts gun no matter what the seller says. The gun has been rebarreled with an artillery barrel. It appears to be a long frame upper receiver that has been faced off to the short length...

So the answer to your questions is a definite NO, these are not representative of factory output... they are kludges...

American Eagle stamped 9mm ,DWM, nice condition, great bore, serial 34828, witness marks perfect not a re-barrel. Once considered to be the issue firearm for U.S. Gov. troops, hence the Eagle on top. Same stamp as on the back of our dollar bill. Estate sale, no trades please

So, where in the world do they get information like this?

I actually think its a cool shooter.... Interesting what they say about the witness markings, as that can't be true...

My guess would be that the tip of the takedown lever is more likely the head of a magazine release button.

Remember sellers will embellish any story to sell questionable goods. I was not even aware there was a gun shop on Miami Beach!

this take down lever is a cheap repro, " mim" metal injection mold , was sold over in some places like cds carbine discount ehrenreich. then it was polished and renumbered, using wrong dies.
