Browning 1922

I have 2 Browning 1922 with close serial numbers, 164332, 164440. Both are Eagle N stamped on the slide and frame. With MR on the trigger guard. As youcan see they have different grips. Is this normal. The one set that looks fatter oyu usually see, are the others original.

They are late war wood slab grips, possibly postwar replacements, they don't look like the late war wood ones I have but it's always hard to tell when they were put on.
