Is it correct for the Luger? I'm thinking so beacause of the reserve magasine holder.

Thanks in advance!

Nobody? :(

I'm seriously thinking of buying this, it is on an auction site.

The seller is asking 8000 HUF (approx 37 USD) for it. Is it worth?

Tom,

It appears to be a post war Eastern Block holster of some kind, or possibly Spanish. I don't believe it's German made. Most Luger holsters have a tool pouch.

It's hard to judge scale, but it looks too short to be made for a Luger.

Thanks Ron! I'm googling, but still not found any similar. I've found many-many Luger holsters from dozens of nations. Some are without tool pouch, but you may be right, none of them were German made. Anyway I keep searching, maybe it is a good deal.

If I'm using the reserve magazine pouch as a benchmark, it seems to me the size is OK. The semicircle cutting on the top of the reserve magazine pouch excites me. It's very Luger style.

Greetings,

Tom

The seller says, that the size of the holster is 25,5x19 cm. (10.04 x 7.48 inch)

Are you just looking for any holster to carry your Luger in??? Or are you looking for a genuine military or police issue Luger holster???

I am just curious - I don't have one to sell...but from my brief visit to a leatherwork/holster forum, I'd say this one is not [German] military or police...

In some ways, it seems to be a product-improved holster...but the gauge or thickness or whatever it is called seems too thin for extended rough use...

I'd guess the cutout is to better grip the magazine for pulling it out, rather than for the Luger mag bottom...

Perhaps an Astra holster???

Not really. I have a repro IIWW holster. When I'm carrying my Luger (she's my "celebration-day" self-defence pistol) concealed, I'm using cordura holster. I just saw this on the local auction site. And I'm curious about the origin of it. If it's something rare, I'm buying it. But first I would like to figure out it's story.

Tom, It's not rare and it's recently made. Basically your hunka hunka burnin junk. The dinky half moon cutout will not fit a German Luger magazine bottom.

Cheap and not well crafted. Save your money. Take the 8000 HUF you saved and treat your Wife to a nice dinner out. You will be much better off.

Thanks Jerry! Then I forget that holster.
