New book about Astra

Dr Leonardo Antaris has just released the 2nd edition of his reference book covering Astra Firearms. This one covers all the Astra guns, Semi-auto, revolvers and shotguns.

It is not cheap but most of the pictures are in color (think gold Damascus engraving) and it has a lot of information not found in the first edition. For any fellow Astra collectors, it is a must buy. Mine is even autographed and dated!:jumper:

How much is "not cheap"???...The latest Luger book is not cheap either, and I can't afford that... :(

I believe it is going out @ $150 with 800 pages and some color pics http://www.firac.us/static/main_order.html

Excellent book covers Astra 900 series, Spanish Royal, Chinese Mountain Village Editions, and Mauser (and many others). $150 cannot buy many things these days, I would think this is a good choice. Heard of serious deflation on web, but $150 is still not big money at this moment.

BTW, all Mauser single lug firing pins had strawed heads in this book. Excellent pictures present details.

Got my copy in last week. Yes; it's not cheap, but the good Dr. has done a real nice job. I have a small collection of Astras, and this book is most welcome!!

I also paid $150.00 but a good reference book is worth the money. In the few emails that I have exchanged with Dr. Antaris he has been very patient, gracious and helpfull in answering my questions.

Tomorrow I will pick up an A-80 to add to my modest collection of Astra's.:jumper:
