help in identifying 7.65 mm luger

I have a luger my dad got from a German officer near the end of WWll and would appreciate help in identifying it. When he gave it to me over 35 years ago I took it to a gun shop and was told it was in excellent condition. The serial # is 150 and I also have the matching clip with #150 and another one with #1714. The toggle inscription is DWM and there is no chamber inscription. The toggle knobs are knurled, round and have a hole in the middle, like a donut. The grips are walnut, checkered and without a border. It does not have a grip safety and the thumb safety shows GFSICHERT when the lever is in the down position. There is a N with what I describe as a crown above it located on the left side of the gun under where the chamber inscription would be if it had one. There is also the #50 stamped on the metal below the rear site and well as stamped on a lever and plate located in front of the trigger. There is a stock lug but no grip safety. There is also a N with a "crown" above it stamped on top of the gun between where the chamber inscription would be and the toggle inscription. Any information on this pistol would be appreciated.

Jerry,

Photos needed to clearly identify. The 7.65 caliber, lack of chamber marking and crown N proof suggest it is a commercial Luger. KFS

No pics??? No further posts??? :(

A general question: Did any German military carry 7.65mm Lugers???

Sounds like a 1920's alphabet series??? Is the crown/N on the left side upright or horizontal? Checking the serial number on the front of the frame, is there any script letter under the number?
