Artillery with Nambu Holster
1 Attachment(s)
From an auction. I imagine a vet made the holster from a Nambu holster he brought back as well.

I bet Jerry can make one in ten minutes!

Could be a Nambu, but the french holster looks very much like the nambu

It´s a French one.
There were some different alterations. This one on the added picture was made for the SA (Sturmabteilung). |
Hi,
It would be interesting to see where it is being offered? The Artillery shows some signs of being one that was assembled under French control at Mauser, post-1945. Note that all small parts are blued. The combination of the pistol and a French holster also seems to point in that direction. It could be a reblued WW1 piece, of course, but if it has a Mauser toggle it could be quite a rare piece as well. |
French, huh? My favorite thing about the Luger and its accoutrements is the seemingly endless depth of variation. Always learning something new no matter how much I read.
Here is link. Looks like a roughshod DWM and dated. Wish there were more photos: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=188671442 |
