Cocking problem...Not sure if its covered in the sticky
First of all I would like to apologize for the noob questions and my lack of knowledge of the technical terms. I promise ill study more before making another post. This is my first Luger and I’m totally lost on the parts. So here is the problem..
So I grab the toggles and pull them back to ***** it and it stays there. Every other Luger I have seen the toggles snap back flat and its ready to fire once cocked. I can push them back by hand and it chambers a round, I pull them back, it spits the round out, then wont snap closed again. Thank you guys for the help with stuff so far  -Bryce |
Oh I forgot... Its a 1913 DMW all matching parts exept for the magazines.

Bryce, If an empty mag in the pistol, it is susposed to hold open. If this happens with a loaded mag or mag remove, it could be several things: too weak a recoil spring, a mag that is locking up too high or has weak feed lips, a bent receiver allowing too much friction between reciever and breech block, etc. TH

PS: FIRST make sure that your toggle connecting link is properly placed in recoil lever, or you will have no return pressure on the toggle. TH
