WWII Browning High Power Finish

Just got one in with Eagle over swastika proofs and Eagle over
curved WaA193 acceptance markings. Any Browning collections help with my questions. It appears to be a faily high polished salt blued firearm. The only thing I have observed is the top of the tangent sight is in the white. Any other observations on small parts, etc. Thanks!
sn is in the 84000 range.

WaA193 is wrong.
'
Has to be WaA103

The part of the tangent sight which has the range markings is supposed to be unblued. To be entirely correct, it would have a magazine which is waffenampted on the spine.

Circa 1965 , at gun show in smalltown usa , I looked at a tangent sight type nazi proofed hipower

it was medium shiny blue , salt blue , mint like out of a time machine , price was $55.
seller was sort of a friend and offered to hold it for $5 while I went to the bank
I decided just to go get the $55 , and of course it was gone when I got back 30 min later

telling the story to say that at least some of these were very nicely finished bright salt blue
as no one would have faked one then for such a small price

I dont recall the serial - but seems it was 6 digits no small letter

enjoy the one you have
