Holster and mag info
This is the holster I received with my 1917 Luger last weekend. I also received the extra magazine which isn't correct for my pistol but it came with it so I took it. The holster has no loose stitching, or cracks in the leather and is overall in pretty good shape. What value should I place on this holster and magazine if I decide to part with them.

Interesting... We're moving through a parallel universe.
The 1916 DWM I bought last week came with a WW-II holster and an extra non-matching WW-II magazine! |
My estimate. Holster $250-300 mag $175. Bill

Dave, Bill is a lot more generous on the holster value than I am. The surface leather is pretty rough. In today's economy I would value it in the $175-200 at most. General condition is just not there for a $300 Luger holster. Recently on eBay an almost mint black Luger holster did not garner one bid at $350.
The mag..I could not venture a bid without seeing the body. Is the mag loaded with cartridges? The follower button is down by the aluminum pull? Jerry Burney |
yes the magazine has about 5 rounds in it. It is in excellent condition and has not dents or rust and the spring seems good.

On the holster . Take Jerry's estimate. When it comes to holsters he is the man. I must admit after looking at the pictures again he is right as usual. I will stay with my mag estimate $175. Bill
