Re: For Informational Purposes
An internet search turned up two restored carbines at Simpson's Ltd for 15,000 and 10,500. Simpson says they sold an original for 25,000. Just what are these things worth anyway?

Carbine values
I sold a stone mint '02 with original case, cleaning rod and custom made saddle scabbard for $10.5 K cash and $6K in stock last October.
Carbines aren't all that rare, they are just pricey...they were pricey when they were new, afterall. Tom |
More Information
I had a guy offer me a 1906 Russian Luger for $8000 recently. It too was restored. I said that I might go $5000 and he turned me down. Maybe I was lucky that he did. I will never know.
