toggle action P38

Just discovered in Europe! A rare prototype gun made by the elves in the black forest during the last months of WW-2. This is the only example of the Toggle-Action P38 known to exist. [Called the TAP.38 by all P38 experts]

I am willing to trade this treasure for an original shipping case full of minty lugers! Don't get left out!!...send the Lugers to me NOW!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

Re: toggle action P38

But Orv, there has TO BE TWO of them, because the frame and sideplate serial numbers do not match. Maybe the elves had too much holiday cheer when they assembled them?

Two?

Yup.....but the other one was destoyed by the rust/dust testing done in the SchwatzWalter in the black of night!

Gee Whiz [as I believe one says in USA]. I think that one Mr T A Naka just may have had a hand in the production of this device. I am reminded of the 'Lugthon', a combination toggle-top and revolver that came to light a while back in Skegness, a seaside town on the east coast of England. Sadly, it disappeared when the owner woke up.
