ARTILLERY LUGER

CAN ANYONE HELP ME TRACE THE HISTORY OF AN ARTILLERY LUGER I HAVE IN MY POSSESSION SERIAL NUMBER 7691. I BELIEVE IT WAS MADE IN 1917.
