Taste is everything. The assessment is very modest. |
ooh...I like it... :)
Do you really want two??? I suppose one could be used for trade... |
My spouse does not restrict me buying guns. That's good news. But I still need to find money to buy them....... before my listed items sold, I won't get enough cash. Nothing sold in the past month except a Shork harness. Too little and too slow.

No. No guns in Beijing. Not even airsoft.
A few guys in Beijing like Mauser holsters, real ones. Replica were sold to the U.S., and real ones were imported from U.S...... not easy to find nice wood holsters here. These collectables are legal in Beijing. Harmless. ==== Another thing some people like is Type 94, 95 and 98 shin-gunto. But that one is in gray area. Nevertheless, tons of fake shin-guntos are on local antique market. Real ones demand premium though. |
Hi guys, can I jump in and ask a question regarding a harness?
I have a Broom with matching holster stock circa 1905 and would like to know what type harness if any, would be correct for my stock. Thanks, Bill |
Bill, your question will be lost here in this thread. I suggest you start a new one under "other guns".

Sorry, I was busy on a little bit private stuff earlier and missed posts.
The confusion of harness.... none of those were made by Mauser. I doubt there was a 'standard' harness for 1905 Mauser. There were some cased guns of that era survived in excellent shape, but I have never seen harness coming with them. Those harness issued by German Army for WWI C96 (9 and 7,63) was standard for that period. But those were made by German government contractors, not by Mauser factory either. So, 'correct' harness also needs a country (or issuer) context, beside the era. |
Alvin, thanks for the info.
George, looks like I need to look before I leap next time. Cheers, Bill |
