Good replica Luger?
http://www.medievalcollectibles.com/...arabellum.aspx
Is that a fairly-priced replica Luger? Unfortunately I can't afford an authentic one. |
David, it looks pretty nice. You might look on Ebay before buying; might find the same thing cheaper.
Good luck Charlie |
Already looked on Ebay. Ebay isn't too good with guns, which is understandable.

eBay *had* dozens of metal Luger replicas; they must have revised their policy...again...
Try www.gunbroker.com - they always have some of the metal replicas listed...Artillery replica looked the best to me... |
Gunbroker or Ebay didn't come up with any...
Mabye i'm doing it wrong? |
A search on "luger replica" on gun broker turned up several.

Thanks, they're all over $100. I think i'm going to get the one i originally picked, since it's black.

Both of those replicas appear to be the Denix variety, which are known to be very simple and vague in their function and build quality. I believe there is a model by brand of Marushin or MGC which functions in every way like an original, although they are notably, more expensive. Try wwiiguns.com. As the licensing here is pretty strict for semi-auto pistols (and even replica and plastic guns) I've had a chance to check out quite a few replicas for folks. The Denix pieces act as good holster fillers I suppose, for the reenactor, or to fill a display etc.

I seem to remember during the war, that my older brother had a black look-a-like Luger. If memory serves me, it was made of the same material that the recognition models were made of at that time. Boy, I sure wish I had it now.

Ocassionally you'll find a solid cast (from an original) "luger" holster filler (no moving parts) advertised in the $50 to $75 range. TH
