Bulgarian Holster

Hi to All, I have bought this WWl or WWll Luger Holster, at least that what the seller said in description.
Trying to put one of my Lugers into it I am not so convinced that it is for a Luger.
If you place the Luger into the Holster it is the right size, but as you hang it from a belt it will sway to one side, the closing strap as you can see from the photos it is too big to fit on the gun.
The Bulgarian Police used something of this type of Holster for the P38 in 1936, and my P38 fits better than a Luger into it, so it seems that it is a Bulgarian Holster, but not for a Luger. :confused:What do you think? thanks.

Alf.

This holster MAY have started out as a Bulgarian holster, but someone has obviously cut it down for some reason. I would hate to have my side arm in this piece of abbreviated leather out in the elements!

I do not think so, here is a Police Bulgarian Holster used 1936 to 1956. I thing they used to make them like that.
