Mauser Parabellum Manual

2 Attachment(s)
Hello Fellows,
I have just received this nice Commercial Parabellum Manual.

The previous owner, a well known German collector and historian, told me that it is the only one he was able to see in the last 40 years in Germany.

It is really in good condition as you can see.

I have taken some pics, the first one is the manual with some accessories of the same period; note that the oil and grease container still have the original content.

The second one shows the “evolution” of the manual from the Commercial one dated 1939 to the French one associated to the scarce 1945-1946 Parabellum production under French control (only 5000 manuals made in 1951) and then the one associated to the Parabellum produced from 1970.
This last is in Spanish language, not really common.

I hope you enjoy…

Cheers,
Mauro

Nice to see another Manual.

Patric, it is quite common in the post WWII French document related to the Parabellum see the Luger name written with the double dot on top.

Bill do you notice that Original is also used in the grease box. Mauser started advertising the grease and oil in this configuration around 1935.

Cheers,
Mauro

There are very good copies of these manuals around, so be careful if you want to acquire one.
