Well, I have appeared, but still not habia presented to my toy ... byf41. This one arms age of a former military man Español enlisted in the Blue Division.
What do you think about it?
A greeting.

Hola Coto, Your gun looks very nice indeed. It appears to be original, except for those grips. The original owner must have been given this gun in the field, because it was made late in 1941 and the Division Azul was in Russia by October. Regards, Norm

Hello Norme.

These are the photographies that send me the seller of her byf41.
The current cheeks are not those of the photos, they are of wood brown with a marking "0" and "84".
Now I am looking for a few black grips of bakelite for the weapon.

Thanks
Antonio

Great looking Luger. Will you be shooting it?
I enjoy shooting all of my firearms except a few which are too nice and original to fire. I am concerned of breaking a part and reducing the value. Although there are only a few I do not dare to shoot, they will remain unfired by me for a long time. However, it is tempting to fire them anyway.

A very nice looking pistol; and excellent close-up photography. Until your pics, I was not aware that the top of the safety was numbered. Looking at my military Luger, I see that it is indeed numbered to my pistol.

Antonio, Nice looking luger. It may have been used on the Russian Front, but I seriously doubt that a German Army accepted PO8 would have been OFFICALLY issued to a member of a non-German Waffen SS divison. Like many of our GIs, he may have picked it up as a war trophy. TH

Did pistol luger only be for Waffen SS?
Did not pistols use luger in 250 Division?
I have understood, that the Blue Division used regular German armament .. k.98, mp.40, mg. 34, and p.08. As light weapon
I dont know...Probably out a recollection of Russia.

It will look mas for information about armament of the Blue Division.

A greeting Doctor.

[QUOTE = wdavid431; 177043] Gran buscando Luger.
[/ Quote]

The this pistol in shot and certainly with many precision.I like to use my pistols for what they were born

I shoot with overloaded ammunition, a little weak mas that the commercial ammunition.

Regards
Antonio

The blue division had the same guns as the German Army, also the uniforms the only difference was the shield on the helmets!! Joder Cojonuda la Pistola!!!

In this site he speaks a bit about 250 Division.
The helmet was taking an emblem with the Spanish flag

Lugerdoc, the Blue Division (División Azul) was indeed a regular german division. All the uniforms and weapons had to be german because german army requested as a part of them.
