Strange Mauser Action

I brought some stuff at a estate sale and several of these mauser actions were in with the stuff I got. They have no markings on the reciever itself, not even a #sn They were marked with old tags that said K98. Some of the small parts have markings. They do not appear to have had a gun built on them.Anyone got any ideas? I was gonna ask about these over on gunboards but I cant get it to work very well as of late. c

With the exception of the military acceptance mark on ejector assembly in the last photo, they appear to be actions that left the factory before completion, or maybe captured from the factory in their current state.

I would be wary of using them to build rifles without having them tested for proper heat treatment... since you don't know if they actually completed the manufacturing process.

If tested good, they should make some fine hunting rifles once the straight bolt handles are properly reshaped or bent for scope use.
