Help In Identification

Could one of you experts help me id these symbols on a luger I obtained privately. It's for sure DWM, serial 3459, with 59 stamped on all parts that are applicable.

Thanks Dudes

An interesting photo. As for being "for sure DWM" the side plate is from an Erfurt P08. The serial number placement pattern is military while it has a commercial proof; this combination could indicate 1920/21 production. The three marks on the side rail are curious as the center stamp looks to be Swedish. The little Weimar type eagle with what looks like SS runes throws the legitimacy of the whole thing into question in my mind.

These are proof marks under the 1968 German proof laws. The (Federal)eagle/N is the nitro proof, and the shield-crowns identifies the Köln (Cologne) proof house.

Dwight's a young man and leads a clean life and his eye sight is far better than mine. Sure looked like SS runes to me.

The 'SS' are actually a date code 'IJ' = 1989.

This pistol looks like one that came into Western-Germany after the collapse of the Iron Curtain. It's probably a VOPO!!

Germany switched to a letter-coded year code after 1972.

I always forget the exact configuration but I use HH as a reminder (77).

Which leads to this:

A = 0
B = 1
C = 2
D = 3
E = 4
F = 5
G = 6
H = 7
I = 8
J = 9
