Not a bad price if the one mag is truly matched to the gun and not force matched. I've seen that holster with the damage from a piece of tape before. I'm sure a forum member will know more about it.

how do i make sure it is a true match?

Corey, You need the seller to get you closeups of the serial # & suffix on the frame and the serial & suffix on the mag. The font type must match exactly. They should be twins. If there is any deviation or no suffix..it might demand further questions.

Also look on the right side of the reciever. The proofs found there..Eagle 63 or Eagle 655 or whartever is there will be found on the bottom of the mag. These should match.

The seller would benefit from some good closeups and so would you. A matching mag is a real prize but it MUST be correct or it's the ruination of a good period magazine and no good at all.

here are some closer pics of it. seems to be legit, but just want a second opinion. what do the suffix's and proofs mean and are they correct? thanks! Corey

Corey, It looks really good to me. I don't have time to explain what they mean but the mag is matching. It's the spare mag by the way, not the primary. Still a good match.
