New Member w/New Luger
 

Hello all...Just wanting to say Hello as a new member. I am a collector of Colt SAA's and GI 1911's and have recently been interested in WW2 weapons from Germany.

I recently bought a captured FN P35 and just bought my first Luger:

I know that this is not a high condition gun that more senior collectors would be interested in, but I was intrigued by the entire rig itself, the fact that it looked "used" and that the capture papers tell a story about it...

I know I paid a little too much for it ($1600) but it came with a desireable W154 stamped tool (that is being traded for a 'correct' E63 + $$$) and also came with an UNMARKED fxo magazine (that isn't shown in this auction) I am looking to get more information about this magazine, but so far it looks like I got lucky with a pretty rare magazine that I am going to sell as I will just keep the one shown in the auction with the gun.

Hope you guys liked looking and reading my story, and if any of you have any information on unmarked 'black widow' magazines, I would be glad to hear as I am trying to find a value so that I can price it fairly for sale.

Welcome to the addiction. The FXO mag with black bakolite bottom is worth around $200 depending on condition.
So... what's your next Luger going to be?

Eric - the person I traded my W154 off to also needed this tool in order to complete his own G date rig, so I know he won't be interested in selling...he was happy to give me $$$ + the E63 for it.

MFC - Thanks, that is what I was thinking it might be worth, it is in incredible condition (plasitic is 98%, machine marking is clean, color is good and there are zero dents)...Now, the question is where to sell it? I guess I will just post it in the classified section and if no one is interested, put it up on eBay?
