A Shere beauty, Thank You!

Bill, is it bad politics to ask what authentic Imperial tools are going for today? And, if not, do you have another one?

Ferley, IMHO most of the C/M ones that you'll see are spurious. I do have one with the M, but no crown available @$100. TH

Gramps came through. He was the one who sold my the Navy, TKS

Tom,
Is the M tool authentic? Must it have both crown & m? I'm not sure how big my collection will get so, I would like to have at least one authentic tool to go with a Beautiful Navy that I just purchased. What would one run for a 1916 Navy?

A wild guess if you could find one would be $400 to $500.

Hi Ferley, Bob is right on the money. This well respected dealer is offering one for $395.00. Regards, Norm

Norme- and I would wonder if it is correct. Early Navy tools were without acceptance stamps until 1910.

Lugerdoc 04-05-2010 01:03 PM

Ferley, Not the correct tool for a WW1 Navy, although the basic tool appears to be of that era, the "M" is lightly struck and offer center, so also probably not the early Navy either. TH

Tom,
Thanks, but I have to wait till next month (gotta pay obama's boy geitner this month), I'll check back with you next payday.
Since I want to shoot mine once in a while, doesn't make sense to buy a $500.00 tool to use at the range huh??????? Ferley
