Trigger lever marking
While replaceing a locking bolt spring I noticed a marking of a cross on the face of the trigger lever. It's on a 1918 Erfurt P08. I haven't noticed it on any others. The sideplate does match. Is the lever original or replacement?

On review it looks like a swiss proof marking on the trigger lever. Do the swiss lugers have a proof mark on the face of the trigger lever? I have none to compare and have no references for swiss lugers.

An "as issued" WW1 Erfurt PO8 should have a crown over a letter, Imperial inspector's mark on the trigger lever. I have them available @35. The Swiss cross marked one is most probably a postwar replacement. Years ago I purchased several PO8 from Finland that had a lot of Swiss marked replacement parts, since they were still making them up until about 1950. So I also have most Swiss marked parts in stock. TH
