1910 DWM, request forum help.
I have been offed this 1910 DMW for $1,300. It is a closed auction on Gunbroker . The pictures are still up. It looks nice, but seller feels it might have an older reblue to it. The original buyer failed to complete his purchase. My question are, does it look reblued? and if so in it's currect form, would $1,300 be about correct? I am looking for early chamber dated Lugers and this one would make #1 on the DWM list. Should I hold out for a original finish 1910, if the opinion is this one is refinished.
Thanks,Bill http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=146473163 VERY SORRY!! I listed another of the seller's items instead!!! |
Bill,
The item number 153908547 comes up as an SS Officers cap. Ron |
Bill...Simply copy paste the # so you don't get it wrong...Or better yet provide a direct link.

Bill,
It is definitly a reblue, the straw is too strong. $1300 would be the high end on it, if not too high. Most well done refinish Lugers unless extremely rare bring about $1000. This appears to be well done, but high IMO. It all depends on how badly you want a hole filler. Ron |
