1915 Dated Leipzig-Gohlis holster and tool marked "Tr.12." any assistance appreciated! Thanks
|
There was a marker MEIER & ABRITZSCH in LEIPZIG GOHLIS. Leipzig is a town in Saxonia and Leipzig was in the area of the XII. Armycorps. I think Tr.12 means Train of the 12. Army corps (normally T.B.12).
A photo would be helpfull. Is the tool also marked with Tr.12? Regards from Germany Klaus |

The Luger is a DWM 1910 #6715c. It came with the holster, 3 magazines, one wood base, and two WWII, and 2 tools one unmarked and the other the Finnish tool, and the holster. The holster is numbered 6396, Tr.12. I have also been advised the Tr.12. could also be 12 Truppen which was in the African colonies? Thanks for the replies. I will work on the photos, but am new to this.
