a 1910 Erfurt?
While doing some web searching, I came across this 1910 Erfurt. According to Dwight's chamber date list, there were only 2 known 1910 Erfurts. This one is a closed auction on Gunbroker, # 145355330 with the pictures/info still posted. The seller did state it had a couple mismatched parts and the pictures are rather poor. Was this most likely a 1910 DWM with a latter rework installing a Erfurt toggle? If this has been brought up on the forum before, I am sorry

Neither Erfurts nor DWM's have stock lugs until 1913. The pistol in question has a stock lug. You can bet on it being a combination of guns or parts.

Thanks George, Some day I will learn what details to look for for the years.

I have found that I have a good knowledge of overall lugers, but know that getting good, I needed to concentrate on just a few. So, I can say, i am pretty good at Simson's and weimar police, all others, well, thats why I have books :D

In the photos presented, it appears that the receiver has a DWM-style proof eagle.
