Well since I have talked myself out of the Hitler Youth Lugers, I think I may *invest* in this one...it has a very reasonable reserve of $3500..but the owner didn't post a pic so I am unsure about it. Do you folks think it is original??

Jeezie Peezie, you mean you don't think Poppa Tedor Eicke or Onkle Sepp Dietrich had one like this? I have been searching all through my Andrew Mollow books looking for one but no luck...darn...the dealer said he was very comfortable that it was a presento to a high Reich functionary from a member of the Eva Braun Battalion of the Labiastandarte...a giftgeschenke...

LMAO,

Tom

John,

C'mon John, you have to learn to take people more seriously! But a "Labiastandarte" I don't want to even ask what that is, But I think I can guess!

These "rare" and "presento" models seem to seep out of the woodwork from time to time. I suppose P.T. Barnum was right afterall!

Take care of yourself

Only $3500,00!!!! Wow lead me to it. Those diamonds in the death's head have got me hooked! In fact I am going to start my own historical foundation and stuff diamonds up a monkey's ass. That should sell like hotcakes. What's wrong with these people? Diamonds on the death's heads eyes? These people should be shot with this pistol. If it still works that is and if not, beat on the head with it untill the diamonds fall out. While I am as nuts about lugers as you can get the glorification of the SS is somthing along the line of child molesting. Jerry Burney

Eva had a club and she sold Lugers!

I didn't know that.

I'll start saving my money for one of these fine Co-lectable items!

Does anyone know what the American Historical Foundation Luger brought at the Rock Island Auction December 9, 2001?

Just curious who got taken!

Question...can anyone give me a definition of the word Libiastandarte? Was it coined by the same guy that wrote the word Farfegnuggen (sp)? If all else fails I'll check with my uncle in Augsburg.

Re: Farfegnuggen

I thought it was when asked how drunk he was, the guy says "Farfrompuken" Sorry , just got back from the Lord of the Rings Movie-WOWOWOWO (btw, no Lugers)

Re: Sounds like one of those American Historical Foundation Pimp Guns

Jeezie Peezie, it seems like sooo many people are just "in the dark" about all those Nazi Special Forces guys and their Special Lugers. A big name dealer told me all about it over breakfast at a big gun show.

The Labiastandarte was a special brigade sized unit of the Hitler Jugend, composed of only females. These froeliche frauleins were under the command of SS-helfereins and were organized into three subordinate sturms, or battalions. There was the Eva Braun Sturm, the Leni Reifstahl sturm and the Hanna Reichfleigersnatchen sturm, all named in honor of the flower of German womanhood and national socialism that they represented. Under this, was the Else Koch turm and several others.

I understand that in addition to special pink-tinted chrome finishes and pearlux grips on the officer's pistols, there were also fuschia accoutrements.

I have the names and emails of several BIG NAME dealers who would be pleased to asist any list member in acquiring one of these priceless relics.

Grinning,

Tom

It is so wonderful to be enlightened. I'm sure old Eva is grinning from top to bottom. Fuschia was her favorite shade. Info from the same dealers. Heheheheh!
