I.D. Please
I have a couple I think original holsters. One is kinda black, but just looks dirty, cause the inside is dark brown, on the back it is stamped "C.HEINICHEN" "DRESDEN" 1936, and then beside it it has a stamp of what appears to be2 tassels with"WaA142" under the tassels. The other is a lighter brown with no stampings, but does have an ink mark, I think "HAXIX 18". Neither has the tools, but they do have the tool pouch. Thanks...-Joshua

????Anybody, anything, even if it is B.S???
|
Joshua, it is very possible they are real, but unless we can see photo's, we are just guessing....
There are fakes out there and lots of real ones. |
Hello Joshua,
The stamp is B.A.XIX 18 which means Bekleidungs Amt für das 18 Armee Korps in 1918. Clothing depot of the 18. Army Corps and the 18 means 1918. The second holster is a W.W.I. holster of the (2.) Saxon Army Corps. It´s allways better to send photos- than it´s easier to see the markings. Regards from Germany Klaus |
Thanks... I'll see what I can do...-Joshua
