firing problem - need help
I have a 1916 luger. During the firing cycle - I put in the clip and **** it. It picks up the first round and chambers it no problem. I squeeze the trigger and it fires. The slide comes back and ejects the spent sheel and picks up a new one. No problem. I squeeze the trigger and it does not fire.
I have to pull the slide back a short distance and i hear a click. Then let the slide go back forward. Now it will fire. It appears that the trigger lever is not pusing the pin back but over riding the pin as the slide comes forward and releasing the bolt from a firinf position. Help Mike |
firing problem help
What I would do is try changing side plates from another luger
if you have one that will fit,and see if that works. If it does you might want to switch trigger levers. You can also do a search on trirrer levers hehe on the fourm. Hugh Clark who is a member did a great artical here on the fourm a while back. Hope this helps. Kit kat041836 |
